Every Wednesday evening from 7-8, a small group meets at the Wildermere Beach Congregational Church for the simple pleasure of dancing to praise our Lord.  In ancient days, Hawaiians danced the hula to honor the gods they knew.  Now, we honor Ke Akua Mana Loa, the God of Great Power, with songs and hymns as we move with reverence and joy.

This is not an exercise class,  a hula lesson, a worship service, or a prayer meeting.  We’re not sure how to categorize what we’re doing.  All I can say is that it is a moving experience, both literally and figuratively.  And there is no charge to participate.
